Imagine....

Our students create some wonderful pieces of art both in and out of class. Sharing work within this blog will allow family and friends both near and far to appreciate the hard work that takes place in art class. This is also a great spot for students to check in to make sure they know what the next sketchbook assignment is and to share ideas on their current assignments.

Reduce  paper for this week's assignment when you Reuse  a sketchbook piece done earlier this year in order to Recycle it into something brand new!

This is an assignment to show how a sketchbook piece can be transformed into a new piece of art.

You may re-create any of the sketchbook assignments from this school year. They are all found within this blog (look for those with the label "sketchbook assignment") should you wish to remind yourself of the original instructions so that you do not add "more of  the same" to your new piece.

If you get stuck thinking that there is different you could do ask someone to look at it; a fresh set of eyes is a common suggestion given when editing your own writing...why not try the same with this!

You may use marker, pencil, coloured pencil, magazine pictures, ribbon, string, or any other item that come to mind.

The end result may surprise you - in a very happy way!
