Sharing work within this blog will allow family and friends both near and far to appreciate the hard work that takes place in art class. This is also a great spot for students to check in to make sure they know what the next sketchbook assignment is and to share ideas on their current assignments.

Piles of ....


This time of year, it is expected that leaves would be the ending to "Piles of...", but no, not quite yet. The leaves have just begun to turn colour and so it will be a little while longer until those leaves fall off branches and need raking. For this week's sketchbook assignment, you will draw a pile of shoes. Find a pile of shoes, sneakers, flip flops, boots, any kind of footwear and draw them, paying close attention to angles and dimension.
